i went shopping for hari raya clothes with my mom yesterday and today. it's really last minute shopping and i swear if i'm gonna get any clothes next year, i'll do it 4 weeks in advanced. it's so rushing and my mom, who doesn't like to go geylang to get stuff would resort to patronising shops in ulu places like sembawang shopping centre.. which do not exactly carry nice and abundant array of clothes. three of us (my sisters and i) got a set each. mine and my second sis's cost like a 120 bucks each. that's like after discount and the design is not really spectacular anyways. i saw one which i like, a black lace-like baju kurung but it costs 300 plus bucks. sad.. so i settled with a marine-green colored indonesian long kebaya which comes with a batik skirt. it's really pretty with flower embroideries and sequins. i think it's some kind of silk.. not sure what tho. got it yesterday but had to have it altered cuz even the s size is a lil too loose, so got it collected today. really really pretty and i like it a lot even tho it's not as exclusive as the black one. to think that i didn't wanna get any clothes this year cuz i don't see the point in getting something so expensive but using it maybe once or twice a year. it's a waste. but my mom talked me into it. haaha. yup, i'm still thinking of what shoes to wear which would complement it. if i take pictures on tues, i'll post them online so that you can see how pretty my kebaya is!

feeling quite happy now, considering how down i was yesterday. it always happens if he goes out drinking at boat quay with his friends. sighh.
