the following sentence was requested by her majesty, angelina chew, on the afternoon of 22 september 2006:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELINA!!!(actually it's suppose to be belated. but i'm gonna pretend her birthday's today. haha.)
caught the banquet on tuesday with ray and his friends. it's a damn good movie i tell you. althought most guys, i think won't find it tasteful for their liking, i think girls are more likely to find the movie very exquisite, carefully crafted and filled with very very pretty clothes. hehe! and the SONGS, goodness, i'm so gonna get the soundtrack lah. the songs are so bloody nice can? hmm, although the movie is quite bloody and filled with lotsa gore which some are unnecessary, it's still nice.
and zhang ziyi is a great actress lah. i think she can act any roles she's given. wheee. i wish i could be an empress in some dynasty with nice clothes. i don't wanna be in qing dynasty where you have to wear that silly headgear thing and bind your feet. haha. so scary! being the empress dowager is not bad either. less likely to be put to death. haha. and the emperor bows at my feet! haha. ok FAT hopes.
anyways i think i know who killed empress wan in the end. actually, ray told me. i didn't figure it out myself. ok, note the colour of the cup the empress handed to the emperor for the toast, it was gold. but when the emperor took the cup again for the second time, and drinking from it, it was silver. so he sorta faked his death. and the facial expression of the empress after she got stabbed, was actually of utter disbelief. so her killer should be someone she thought who died. yup! sorry for spoiler! haha.
i bought a new book today. it's called "the temple of the golden pavilion" by this famous japanese guy, yukio mishima. my samurai lecturer recommended it to us and i happened to see the book in mph. apparently, the author, mishima was this guy who believed in the samurai code of ethics and conduct and tried to rebel against the modern government in contemporary japan. unsurprisingly he failed. so he and his group of followers commited seppuku (ritual suicide considered to be honourable) in 1970. he had lotsa works and literary stuff. very famous. the book is said to be one of his best. hahh! so i'm gonna read it later! tata.
